Mission

The Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) shall promote the discipline of political science in the country and the region.

Vision

To be the leading institution for the promotion of the discipline of political science and the center for knowledge production and dissemination to the political science community and the public.

Goals

Development of Political Science as a Discipline

Goal 1: To engage in activities that promote teaching, research, and public service in political science.

Goal 2: To provide platform for theory development and research enhancement.

Goal 3: To create an environment conducive for collaborative work between political science and other disciplines.

Public Service

Goal 4: To promote civic engagement through political education.

Goal 5: To provide expertise on political issues through media engagements.

Goal 6: To influence policymaking at the national and local levels.

Inclusivity and Diversity

Goal 7: To deepen inclusion and diversity in political science as a discipline and the Association.

Membership and Linkages

Goal 8: To expand the membership of the Association to reach political and social science professionals and practitioners.

Goal 9: To improve and expand services and benefits for all members.
